About This Project

The deep-water berth at the port of Salif, the republic of Yemen, was constructed under a contract signed between the Yemen government and the foreign trade company ‘Technostrojexpert’, one of the oldest in Russia. “Krymmorgidrostroy” specialists and technical fleet were involved in the work performance.

The project was worked out by the Russian institute ‘Soyuzmorniiproekt’.

The wharfage is 450 metres.

Alongside depth is 13 metres.

Technical characteristics of the deep-water berth at the port of Salif allowed us to serve the ships of 50 000 tons displacement for the first time.
