About This Project

The dry dock facilities were designed in close proximity to the shipyard ‘Zaliv’ in Kerch. Its territory is 15 hectares.

The general constructor was the trust ‘Krymmorgidrostroy’ of the Ministry of Transport Construction (hereafter JSC ‘Krymmorgidrostroy’). The company supervised the construction and installation works on the building of the dry dock facilities.

During the construction of the complex the following amount of the construction and installation work was complete:

  • Dewatering of the foundation pit of 1 500 000 m3
  • Earthwork operations (excavation and banquette) 3 431 000 m3
  • Immersion of the groove ШК-1 and Larssen lV (length:17 m., weight: 5 150 tons)
  • Concrete and reinforced works (258 800 m3)
  • Construction of crane runways (18 935 m)

Waterproofing of cold mastics (72 750 tons)
